I feel bad that I haven’t been blogging as much, but there is a reason!
The last week of June is always the biggest, craziest, and most fun week of the summer. It is the week of. . . Smoky Mountain Daycamp!
This week, I have had the chance to work with wonderful adults, teens, and youth from my local towns and spending all day in the Great Smoky Mountains. We have been doing lots of Bible stories, missionary stories, memorizing verses (I am so proud of my kids as well as the camp counselors, like myself, on my team. They are all troopers!) and lots of fun activities and games.
I attended this camp for two years as a camper, and this is my second year as a counselor. I love spending the time with these kids, as well as my friends. For most of us, this is the one week out of the year that we get together. But when we do, the result is incredible. The music worship, the prayers, the laughter, and the time we have together with God, it’s life-changing every single year.
Guys, sorry if I am slow to publish my blogs, I’m just working on several different things right now, one being day camp, and two more things that I will be announcing soon. I think you’ll be very excited to receive the news, but that’ll be released next week!
Wish me luck at camp!
